Disagree and commit
When you disagree with a decision, say so directly and give your reasoning. If the decision goes the other way, commit to it fully instead of holding back effort while you wait to be proved right.
Evidence grade: practice A widely adopted practitioner model with clear provenance.
Use it when
A peer executive's strategy that you believe is wrong; any decision at the executive table that goes against you.
Where it stops working
It presumes that a decision was in fact made and the disagreement was heard. Used to silence dissent before the decision, it becomes a different and worse rule.
